On the right (and on the home page) you see a RSS newsfeed of critical Cozahost servers. The status is updated in real time by sophisticated monitor and management software.
When a service goes down for more than a minute or two, operations staff are notified via email and SMS. At the same time the management software will kick recovery agents (software) into action in an effort to resolve the issue automatically.
Where automated recovery fails or is not possible, a human operator will invesigate the problem and, if the outage is longer than a few minutes, will report back on this page with actions taken and a situation report.
